"Maybe it's okay to take time to be okay, maybe healing is a journey lined with endless grace." Morgan Harper Nichols

Educational and Professional Background

I obtained my bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of South Alabama and my masters of social work from Salisbury University.

I’ve worked with individuals in many settings; private practice, primary care, and those that are involved with the criminal justice system over the last 4 years.  My experiences of working in diverse settings allows me to support those who are in difficult situations. I take pride in being able to meet my client’s where they’re at, and being able to be grounded in my approach. I offer an open-hearted and affirming space for individuals of all orientations, ethnicities, and backgrounds.

I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and work alongside clients to identify practical coping skills that feel manageable and effective in everyday life. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood, especially when working through difficult or overwhelming experiences. No matter where life has taken them, each client will be met with the same care and kindness I would want.

My previous experiences have allowed me to support individuals during highly stressful and transitional periods. I take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach and strive to meet each person where they are, honoring their story and strengths. I am passionate about helping clients build insight, resilience, and a sense of empowerment as they move toward healing and meaningful change.

Personal Interests

Outside of my time here, you’ll likely find me spending time with my husband and our two dogs and two cats; Meadow, Bodhi, Gizmo, and Dutchy. I enjoy being grounded in nature, getting a workout in, and reading mystery or romance novels.
