I want my clients to feel understood, safe to express themselves, and hopeful for their mental health future. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy to develop healthy habits and cultivate self-love and appreciation. Adults, adolescents, and children alike can benefit from my counseling services, which include cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness exercises. Not everyone has the same way of handling life, so I help each person individually and cater to their unique personality and needs.

My experience as a mental health counselor in a grade school setting has given me the opportunity to observe the environment and social dynamics of children, teenagers, and parents alike. This experience gave me different approaches to better assist people of different backgrounds, values, and diversities. I also worked with children with autism and other disorders as a behavior analyst, a profession that taught me helpful methods to help parents and children connect and learn together.

I acquired my bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles, and my master's degree from Grand Canyon University. I have started my clinical experience in California, working for a nonprofit counseling agency.

Aside from helping people with their mental health and life goals, I also enjoy traveling with my family, discovering new restaurants to try, and experimenting with new recipes to cook. I love Zumba for exercise, even though dancing isn't my forte. I love my cat Taro, who reminds me how beautiful and silly life can be.
