We believe in, and practice from, a relational perspective to address a wide range of mental health concerns. We believe in an individualized approach to meeting our clients where they are and addressing the concerns they believe are most relevant, which will help them reach their full potential for happiness and personal growth. We practice from a cognitive perspective and believe that many of the problems we face can be overcome by examining the way our thoughts influence our feelings and behavior. It often comes down to thinking about how you think.
Furthermore, we follow the NASW Code of Ethics.
Wellness Mindset was formed by two experienced mental health clinicians, with a lived experience of addiction and mental illness. Our goal is to increase access to mental health services in the area, outside of large community mental health centers and managed care systems.
Our mission is to provide trauma informed, culturally competent, therapeutic interventions to all populations, and to address numerous mental health conditions, through the implementation of multiple treatment modalities in an individualized treatment planning process.
