Alexandra Nitchman, LCSW
“Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Family, Consumer, and Human Development from Utah State University and earned my Master of Social Work from Boise State University.
My professional journey began with internships at the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and the YCC Family Crisis Center, where I gained hands-on experience supporting individuals and families in crisis. For the past three years, I’ve worked in a prominent medical office setting, serving the mental health needs of a diverse patient population. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how mental and physical health intersect and have strengthened my commitment to compassionate, comprehensive care.
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, self-esteem struggles, and stress. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to meet each client where they are.

My decision to become a therapist was deeply personal rooted in my own experiences with adversity, which inspired me to help others find healing and resilience in their own stories.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy traveling, camping, kayaking, watching documentaries, and spending time with my husband and our two children. These experiences enrich my life and keep me connected to what truly matters—relationships, authenticity, and meaningful growth.
